Monty Brown Makes Return, Flair's Company, Terri, More

As noted last week, Ric Flair's finance company, Ric Flair Finance, shut down with the mortgage business in turmoil. Flair originally had plans to make a big push for the business with a heavy ad campaign back in January, but he then made the decision to wait until after the retirement. However, that's when things started to going really bad for the mortgage industry and it became the worst time to start a new company.

This completely flew under the radar, but former TNA/WWE star Monty "Marcus Cor Von" Brown made his first wrestling appearance in a little over a year at a PCW indy show in Arlington, Texas about three weeks ago on 6/28. He makes a surprise appearance while one of the sons of the head promoter (the adult children of the promoter are often booked as lead stars on their shows even though they're not wrestlers) is cutting a heel promo in sandals and khaki shorts saying, "Bad things are going to happen!" Brown comes out and gives the undistinguished son his trademark Pounce maneuver. Brown then gets on the mic and says, "PCW, The Alpha Male is back!" and shouts his trademark TNA catchphrase.

Kevin Eck of The Baltimore Sun has an interview with former WWE Diva Terri Runnels. She talks about her writing contest, her career in wrestling, Dusty & Dustin Rhodes blaming her for their split during the 1990s, if she'd like to come back to wrestling, and more.
