Fit Finlay Talks Going To TNA, Possible Return To WWE

The Sun has an interview up with Dave "Fit" Finlay, who talks about debuting for the Varsity Pro Wrestling promotion outside of the U.K.

Finlay also spoke about returning to WWE after being released by the company in March following an incident where he had Miz interrupt the playing of the National Anthem at a house show.

"I don't know if I'll be back ? I hope so," Finlay said. "I've got lots of friends there; John Laurinaitis is a good friend of mine.

"I do love the WWE scene and miss it tremendously but I'm not going to curl into a ball about not being there, you've just got to get on with it. There are no hard feelings about my release ? I take responsibility for what happened."

Finlay also admitted to having had talks with Dixie Carter about joining TNA, however not being able to come to an agreement on a deal.

"At one time or another they all got in touch and I listened but the offers weren't right," he said. "They weren't enough ? it's not like it's my first day in the business. I've been doing this for 37 years now and one thing I know is that you can't sell yourself cheap."
