TNA Star Doing Work For WWE 2K16?, Eric Young - NHL, SoCal Val, TNA Announces Overseas TV Deal

- TNA and Sony Six, India's most popular sports entertainment channel, announced that they have signed a long-term deal that will make Sony SIX the exclusive home for all TNA content through 2022. According to a press release, the partnership will also includes a commitment to find new talent from the Indian subcontinent to join the TNA roster.

"India has an incredible cultural heritage with wrestling and we are thrilled to continue this amazing partnership with Sony SIX for years to come," said TNA President Dixie Carter. "As is evident through this long-term deal with Sony SIX, the powerful introduction of Mahabali Shera, and our continued pledge to find and develop Indian talent, together we are committed to growing legions of TNA fans across the Indian subcontinent."

- NHL.com has an article here about Eric Young being a big hockey fan and growing up playing the sport. In the article, Young was asked which NHL player would be a good fit for the TNA roster.

"Dustin Byfuglien; he's a big dude," Young said. "Wrestling is definitely a sport of big guys. Not all big guys like it used to be. I'm not a massive, massive person, but Byfuglien is just a big dude."
