Chael Sonnen Vs. Tito Ortiz Set, Former UFC Champ Added To UFC 207, More Fight Announcements

Sonnen, who challenged for UFC gold three times in the middleweight and light heavyweight division, came out of a self-imposed retirement due to a failed drug test earlier this year by signing with Bellator. He immediately challenged Ortiz to a fight, along with everyone else on the Bellator roster.

Ortiz, a former UFC champion and member of the Hall of Fame, has picked up wins over Alexander Shlemenko and Stephan Bonnar since returning to the sport following several surgeries. He was submitted in 2015 by Liam McGeary for the Bellator light heavyweight title.

- Urijah Faber is coming home, as the former WEC champion has been added to UFC on FOX 22. Faber will meet Brad Pickett from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on December 17. The card is headlined by Paige VanZant vs. Michelle Waterson.

Faber, who now resides in Sacramento where he runs Team Alpha Male, has lost his last two via decision to Jimmie Rivera and Frankie Edgar. It is the first time "The California Kid" has ever lost back-to-back fights in his MMA career.

Pickett is coming off a first round submission defeat to Iuri Alcantara earlier this month. The Brit has won 25 fights in his career, but is just 2-5 over his last seven.

- The fight card for UFC 207 is quickly taking shape, as two more welterweight bouts were confirmed for the event recently. Former champion Johny Hendricks meets Neil Magny, while Tarec Saffiedine takes on Matt Brown. The event goes down December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Hendricks has lost his last two fights and three of four, while Magny is 10-2 over his last 12. Brown and Saffiedine are each trying to gain some traction in the 170-pound division after losing four of their last five combined.

UFC 207 will feature the return of Ronda Rousey, as she challenges Amanda Nunes for the female bantamweight title.
