Billy Gunn (w/Austin Gunn) vs. Shawn Spears

Tony Schiavone and Cody welcome fans to a brand new episode of AEW Dark! The Gunn Club make their way down to the ring.

Billy Gunn (w/Austin Gunn) vs. Shawn Spears

Billy walks towards Spears. Spears quickly escapes the ring. Billy hangs out in the corner, and Spears makes his way back in the ring. Billy backs Spears into the corner. Spears calls for the referee to get Billy away from him. Both men lockup. Billy backs Spears up into another corner. Now in the center of the ring, a takedown occurs. Spears mocks Billy by singing "I'm an a– man." Billy gets up and pulls Spears down by his arm. Billy locks in an armbar. Billy throws a right hand towards Spears. Spears rolls out of the ring and calls for a timeout. Spears walks up towards the camera and checks to make sure his tooth isn't broken or chipped after that strong right-hand strike. Spears is back in the ring. Billy throws Spears into the corner. Spears counters and gets caught in the ropes after an attempted crossbody. Billy lands a strike/kick combo. Billy covers, Spears kicks out right away at 1.

Billy meets Spears on the outside, after Austin Gunn confronts him. Billy smashes Spears face-first onto the steel stairs, and then towards the barricade. Spears sends Billy into the ring post (twice), and up towards the staging area. Billy rolls back into the ring. As he comes in, Spears chokes Billy. Spears calls for another break and grabs a water bottle. Spears lays down a few chops. Both men are now back in the center of the ring. Spears connects a spiking DDT on Billy. Spears covers, and Billy kicks out at 2. Spears pulls Billy up by his hair and lands a couple of left-hand jabs. Billy fights back with a lariat. Billy lands two clotheslines. Billy blocks the C4. Spears pokes Billy with a thumb to the eye. Spears is able to connect the C4 this time, and wins the match.

Winner: Shawn Spears
