Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcome fans to Impact Wrestling! We kick things off with a first-round #1 Contenders Tournament match!

Ace Austin vs. Rhino

Bell rings, both men square up. Rhino pushes Ace Austin to the ground. They reset the match. Austin goes for a standing switch. Rhino counters it with a wrist lock. Austin breaks out of the hold and rolls out. Austin slides back. Austin goes for an armlock. Rhino reverses it with an armlock of his own. Rhino ducks a clothesline and chops Austin in the chest. Austin steps out again.

As Austin gets back in the ring, he finds a way to corner Rhino. Rhino fights out with a chop. Rhino sets up for the Gore, and Austin runs out again. Rhino meets Austin on the outside. Rhino sends Austin down on the concrete with a suplex. Rhino grabs a chair from underneath the ring. The referee stops him from using it. Austin is back up. He fires a kick off the apron.

Austin slams Rhino face-first into the ring post. Austin yells at the referee to begin the count on Rhino. Rhino slides back into the ring at 9. As he rolls in, Austin keeps Rhino down with multiple kicks. Austin goes for a pin. Rhino kicks out at 2. Both men send each other down with a double clothesline. Rhino pulls off a mini Gore on Austin in the corner. Austin fights back with a single leg lariat. Austin pins Rhino. Rhino kicks out again at 2.

Austin heads to the top. Rhino cuts him short with a few shots. Rhino climbs up to the middle rope and sends Austin down on the mat with a superplex. Rhino grabs Austin's leg for a pin, Austin kicks out at 2. Austin connects a kick and grabs the steel chair. The referee warns Austin to not use it. Rhino grabs the chair out of Austin's hands. The referee then grabs the chair out of Rhino's hands. Austin grabs his Gambit stick and hits Rhino with it, as the referee's back is turned. Austin covers Rhino and wins the match.

Winner: Ace Austin

Ace Austin advances to the semi-finals.

Josh Mathews sits down with the Self-Proclaimed TNA Champion, Moose. Mathews discusses Moose's match with Suicide last week. These two will have a rematch for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tonight!

Backstage: Newly signed Knockout, Tasha Steelz, is greeted by Kiera Hogan. Hogan was impressed with Steelz's match last week. Hogan offers her guidance to Steelz.

Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne run through tonight's card.

Up next, oVe makes their way down to the ring.

Dave Crist (w/ oVe) vs. Crazzy Steve

Dave Crist runs towards Crazzy Steve. Steve trips Dave. Steve goes up and over and takes out Dave. Joseph P. Ryan is out on the ramp, observing the match. Back in the ring, Dave locks Steve up in the ropes. The referee calls for a rope break. Dave has Steve in the corner and keeps him down with multiple low kicks. Steve finally fights out of the corner with a few shots and kicks of his own.

Dave has Steve in the center of the ring. He keeps knee striking Steve on the side of his face. Dave lands a shot towards Steve's midsection. Dave distracts the referee, as Madman Fulton and Jake Crist attack Steve on the outside. Dave connects a suplex, goes for the cover, and Dave kicks out. Steve lands a DDT on Dave, and picks up the win!

Winner: Crazzy Steve

Post-Match: Madman Fulton corners Dave and asks, 'Where's your head at?' Jake Crist pulls Fulton off of Dave Crist. Fulton believes that he's better than both of the Crist Brothers. He announces that he quits oVe.

At the Bar: Rosemary is having a little chat with Mr. Mundo. Johnny E. Bravo comes in. There is still some tension between the two of them.

And now, some tag team action!

XXXL (Acey Romero & Larry D) vs. TJP & Fallah Bahh

TJP and Acey Romero were about to start the match, but Fallah Bahh tags himself in. So now, Romero and Bahh will start the match. Both men lockup. Neither man can clothesline one another. Bahh moves out of the way from an attempted leg drop. Bahh tags in TJP. Romero tags in Larry D. TJP sends Larry D to the corner. Larry D grabs him. Larry D goes for a leg drop, TJP rolls away. TJP connects a running clothesline on Larry D before tagging in Bahh.

Larry D fights his way up with several midsection shots on Bahh. Bahh sends him back down with a shot of his own. Bahh tags in TJP. TJP lands on top of Larry D from off the top rope. TJP goes for a quick tag to Bahh. Bahh headbutts Larry D then goes for another quick tag to TJP. TJP goes for a cover, Larry D kicks out at 2. TJP avoids Larry D. Romero tags himself in and hits TJP with an open hand slap. Their match will continue after the break.

Back from the break, it's Larry D and TJP in the ring. Larry D has TJP in a front facelock. TJP gets up, but Larry D locks in a bear hug. Romero sends Bahh off the apron. TJP lands a DDT off the back of Larry D. Bahh climbs back up on the apron, and is tagged in. Bahh sends Romero out of the ring with a shoulder tackle. Romero comes back in with a Pounce.

TJP comes in with a save. Bahh collides with XXXL. Bahh catches Larry D with a belly-to-belly suplex. Bahh goes for a lateral press cover, Larry D kicks out. Romero bodyslams TJP. Larry D heads to the middle rope. Bahh grabs Larry D and connects a Samoan Drop. TJP flies off the top rope with a Mamba Splash. TJP and Bahh pick up the win!

Winners: TJP & Fallah Bahh

Next, a rematch between Suicide and Moose!

Moose (c) vs. Suicide for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Moose charges towards Suicide. Suicide leapfrogs over Moose. Suicide goes for a body scissors attempt, and Moose counters it. Moose catches Suicide on the outside. Suicide slides off of Moose and sends him towards the ring post. Back in the ring, Suicide has the octopus lock on Moose. Next, Suicide flies off the apron, only to be caught by Moose, who swings him into the barricade. Moose slides back in the ring, and the referee begins the count on Suicide. Suicide makes it back in by the 9th count.

Moose has Suicide cornered with a foot chokehold. Moose throws Suicide halfway across the ring. Moose does it again. Suicide tries to get back into this match, but Moose lands a shot on him. Suicide whips Moose towards the turnbuckle. Moose yells out at Suicide that he's, "A piece of garbage." Suicide tries to fight with all his might, and finally connects several running dropkicks. Suicide rolls through with a lionsault then covers Moose. Moose kicks out at 2.8. Suicide puts Moose down with a codebreaker. Suicide catches Moose with three superkicks, then heads to the top. Suicide is up and connects a crossbody on Moose. Moose steals the pin and retains his Championship.

Michael Elgin has a few words to say before his match against Sami Callihan tonight.

Backstage: Johnny Swinger is getting ready for his match against Willie Mack tonight. Chris Bey comes in and wishes Swinger luck on his match, while also reminding him to teach Mack a lesson on how he treats others. Swinger says that he and Bey will celebrate if he wins!

Up next, the X-Division Championship is on the line!

Willie Mack (c) vs. Johnny Swinger

Johnny Swinger jumps Willie Mack as the match begins. Swinger wraps one of his bandanas around Mack's neck. The referee breaks it up. Swinger goes for a cover, Mack kicks out at 2. Swinger wraps his hands around Mack's neck again. Swinger comes off the ropes with a flying elbow. Mack ducks a clothesline, body slams Swinger, then drops the leg. Mack flies on top of Swinger in the corner.

Swinger counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Swinger with another cover, Mack has his foot on the rope. Swinger grabs the title and holds on to it. Mack grabs Swinger and sends him down with a Samoan Drop. Mack keeps the pressure on Swinger with a standing moonsault. Mack goes for the final cover, and retains his Championship!

Winner: Willie Mack

Post-Match: Swinger is upset, and keeps the fight going. Chris Bey runs down to the ring and helps Swinger with his attack on Mack.

In Canada: The North are hanging out and celebrating their last two victories. Josh Alexander is not feeling it. Good ol' Cody Deaner crashes their party! He wants to take on The North next week at The Deaner Compound for their Championship Titles. The North accepts his challenge!

Mathews and Rayne announce next week's card, which includes:

The North putting their Impact World Tag Team Championships on the line, against Cody Deaner and a partner of his choosing at The Deaner Compound

The semifinals will begin next week!

And now, the final open-round match and main event!

Michael Elgin vs. Sami Callihan

Bell rings, Michael Elgin heads towards Sami Callihan. Callihan keeps moving out of the way. You can tell that Callihan's ankle is still bothering him from his match against Ken Shamrock. Elgin grabs Callihan's left leg. Callihan slaps Elgin. Callihan follows it up with a chop. Elgin runs the ropes and gets caught by Callihan, who pushes his fingers into Elgin's eyes. Elgin gets dropped on his head by a DDT. Callihan connects two pump kicks on Elgin.

On the outside, Callihan slams Elgin face-first into the ring post. Callihan starts to target Elgin's elbow. Elgin counters, and keeps putting more damage on Callihan's ankle. Elgin scores another kick towards Callihan's ankle. He keeps the momentum going by slamming Callihan's leg into the ring post. Callihan dodges another slam towards the ring post. Their match will continue after the break.

Back from the final break, Elgin wants Callihan to give him his best shot, before slugging him down on the mat. Callihan rolls Elgin up in a crucifix pin, Elgin rolls out of it. Callihan connects another pump kick. Elgin then lands a superkick. Callihan takes Elgin down with a strong clothesline. Callihan side steps, and sends Elgin to the floor. Callihan dives towards Elgin on the outside. In the ring, Callihan connects a big throw on Elgin. He goes for the cover right away, but Elgin kicks out at 2.

Elgin counters with a takedown and slams all his weight on top of Callihan's ankle. Elgin continues to go after Callihan's leg with a dropkick, then slams him knees first onto the mat. Elgin locks in Callihan's damaged leg in a half crab. Callihan gets his hand on the bottom rope. Callihan finds his footing again with a suplex. Callihan finds a way to grab another cover, Elgin kicks out. Callihan looks for the Cactus Special, Elgin counters, Callihan rolls him up with a sunset flip, then a Buckle Bomb. Callihan rolls Elgin up, Elgin rolls out and lands a back elbow. Elgin connects the Elgin Bomb. Elgin covers, and wins the match.
