Impact Wrestling Results: Eight-Man Tag Main Event, TJP Takes On Trey, Knockouts Tag Match, More

Before the show starts, Impact pays homage to Barry Scott. Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcome fans to Impact Wrestling! We kick things off with a Knockouts tag team match!

Deonna Purrazzo & Kimber Lee vs. Kylie Rae & Susie

Deonna Purrazzo and Kylie Rae kick things off. Both women lock up. Rae positions herself behind Purrazzo with a standing switch. Purrazzo sends Rae on the mat with an arm takedown. Rae reverses. Purrazzo breaks out of Rae's hold and then takes a bow. She tags in her partner Kimber Lee. Rae sends Lee off her feet with a deep arm drag. Lee drags Lee over to her corner, so she can tag in Susie. Rae lands a thunderous uppercut before her and Susie sends Lee face-first into the mat with a double bulldog. Purrazzo, on the apron, kicks Susie in the back. Lee goes for a pinfall. Susie kicks out at 2. Lee locks Susie with a deep single-leg submission. Susie stretches her arm towards the bottom rope. Purrazzo is tagged in. She and Lee connect a double suplex on Susie.

Purrazzo smashes Susie with her boot before tagging Lee back in. Lee kicks Susie in the back then tags Purrazzo back in. Susie eats a forearm from Purrazzo before she connects one of her own. Susie rolls over to tag in Rae, Lee is also tagged in. Rae flies off the ropes with a powerful clothesline. Rae's signature special is blocked by Lee, with a kick. Rae connects a cannonball in the corner before going for a pin. Purrazzo breaks the pin. Rae sends Purrazzo out of the ring. Lee pops Rae with a strong suplex. Susie makes her way back in the ring. Lee heads to the top rope. Susie catches her with a palm strike and then a Rana. Susie embraces her alter ego Su Yung by using the Panic Switch to gain the win for her and Rae!

Winners: Susie & Kylie Rae

After that impressive match, Mathews and Rayne run through tonight's card.

Backstage: Trey approaches Rohit Raju. Trey believes that Raju is dodging every X-Division contender for fear he might lose the title. He asks him when he'll have a shot. Raju says that it's "out of his control."

Backstage: John E Bravo is still on the phone getting things arranged for his wedding. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz come back to bother him. They want to know who is going to be his best man. He pulls Fallah Bahh in and says it's him. Hogan and Steelz are shocked.

We head back to the Impact Zone to see XXXL and The Deaners rehash their Wrestle House rivalry.

XXXL (Acey Romero & Larry D) vs The Deaners

Cody Deaner and Acey Romero start the matchup. Cody wants to create a truce before they lockup. Romero rejects his offer, with a slam to the mat. Romero tags in Larry D. Larry D stomps his boot towards Cody's face. He goes for a pin, Cody kicks out at 2. Larry D connects a forearm before tagging Romero back in. Romero sends Cody off his rocker with a powerful forearm. Cody tries to fight back, but Romero sends him towards his corner of the ring with a right uppercut. Larry D makes his way into the ring. Larry D is ready to connect a right-hand fist, but Cody ducks underneath him and tags in Cousin Jake. The Deaners land a double clothesline on Romero. It's Time 2 GIV'ER, or so we thought. Romero blocks their attempt with a pounce, which helps Larry D finally land his right-hand punch. XXXL picks up the win!

Coming back from the break, we head to the third match of the evening!

Trey vs. TJP

They kick off their match with a test of strength. TJP breaks free with a cartwheel. Trey runs the ropes and rolls through with a snapmare/somersault combination. Trey goes for a cover, TJP kicks out at 2. TJP locks Trey's legs up. Trey makes his way over to the bottom rope for a rope break. TJP jumps over the top rope with a senton then he goes for a cover. Trey kicks out at 2. Trey and TJP collide with a double dropkick. TJP quickly runs over to the corner. TJP catches Trey before he can connect a 619. Trey sends TJP down with a spinning kick, but he isn't able to pick up the pinfall just yet. Trey heads to the top rope. TJP meets him up there, with a superplex to the mat. TJP has Trey locked up in an octopus submission. Trey rolls through only to get his left leg locked up again. Trey goes to the bottom rope. Trey TJP uses the ropes for a tornado DDT. He heads to the top to smash Trey with the mamba splash. Trey rolls out of the way to grab the final pinfall in the match after landing a vicious Meteora from the top rope. Trey wins!

Mathews receives word that there's some commotion going on in the back. We head to the back to see Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, and The North attacking Dez and Wentz from the Rascalz before their eight-man tag match tonight.

Backstage: The doctor tells Motor City Machine Guns that their partners Dez and Wentz are not cleared to compete tonight. The Good Brothers step in and say they'll volunteer to take the Rascalz' place.

We make our way back to the ring to see what Rich Swann has to say!

Swann requests that Scott D'Amore comes down to the ring. He informs D'Amore how hard it's been since he announced his in-ring retirement last month. Even though he's not medically cleared he wants to know if D'Amore will clear him to have a one-on-one match with Eric Young. D'Amore says that he can't do it. Swann reassures him that he'll be ready in time for Bound For Glory next month. He believes he deserves a shot at the Impact World Championship. D'Amore agrees that he should be the next in line for the title, but he just can't do it. He fears if he does, he could permanently be out of action. Swann will not take no for an answer even if that means he'll be crippled for the rest of his life. He begs him one more time. Before he can answer, EY heads down to the ring.

Young pushes D'Amore out of his way. Young lands a few punches on Swann before he rolls out of the ring. He yells out at Swann that he made a mistake. D'Amore gets up and grabs his microphone. D'Amore turns to Swann and says, "You know what? Go ahead and take this piece of sā€“t out (EY)." It's official Swann will face Young for the Impact World Championship at Bound For Glory!

Backstage: Taya Valkyrie asks Rosemary where was she when she faced Tasha Steelz last week. Rosemary says she was busy but, she'll be in her corner tonight!

Up next, Brian Myers will square off with Willie Mack!

Brian Myers vs. Willie Mack

Willie Mack is all over Brian Myers as the match gets going. Mack sends Myers down with a dropkick. Myers rolls out of the ring. He meets him on the outside with a diving elbow. Myers catches Willie with a side Russian legsweep on the ramp. Mack rolls back into the ring by the 9th count. Myers floats over Mack with a vertical suplex. He goes for a cover. Mack kicks out at 2. Myers tears off the protective padding on the top turnbuckle. He tries to slow Mack down with a front facelock. Mack counters with a belly-to-back suplex. Mack clubs Myers with a clothesline followed by a deep leg drop. Myers escapes out of the pinfall attempt at 2. He has Myers up, but Myers counters with a step-up enziguri. Mack then sends Myers crashing with an exploder suplex. He goes for a cover, Myers kicks out again. Myers low blows Mack, but he doesn't get the pinfall. Myers goes up and over. Mack sends Myers out cold with his signature stunner to gain the victory!

Backstage: Rosemary and Havok have a little talk about her wedding. Havok knows what she's trying to ask, but she doesn't want to get involved. This leads to Rosemary and Havok trading shots before Nevaeh steps in and breaks up the fight.

Backstage: Moose finds D'Amore and informs him that EC3 is stalking him. D'Amore doesn't have time to hear his nonsense. Moose says that EC3 has gone to the extremes of taking pictures of him and talking to his football coach. D'Amore finds his act to be similar to The Boy Who Cried, Wolf. He walks away from the conversation. All of a sudden, EC3's voice rings in. He tells him that his time is running out. Moose calls up "The Demo God" for advice on what to do next.

Backstage:Rhino sneaks Heath in to help him with his money dilemma.

At a Photoshoot: Jordynne Grace confronts Tenille Dashwood and lets her know that they have a match against each other next week.

Speaking of Knockouts, we head back to the Impact Zone for another hard-hitting match!

Kiera Hogan (w/Tasha Steelz) vs. Taya Valkyrie

Rosemary does not come out with Taya Valkyrie. The bell rings, Valkyrie picks Kiera Hogan up and slams her into the turnbuckle. She keeps the damage on strong by slamming Hogan's face into the bottom turnbuckle. She then sends Hogan to the outside. Hogan rolls back into the ring. Valkyrie rocks her with a back elbow. She goes for a pin, but Hogan kicks out at 2. She is stunned! Hogan gains some defense with a basement dropkick. She goes for a cover, and Valkyrie kicks out. Valkyrie throws Hogan out of the ring again. She makes her way back in only to be smashed with a running hip attack. Tasha Steelz pulls Hogan out of the ring before Valkyrie is able to connect her double knee drop. Steelz lands a solid kick on Valkyrie, which helps Hogan gain the pinfall victory tonight.

Backstage: Rhino greets Hernandez. He says that he wants to have another rematch (arm-wrestling). Heath is behind Hernandez. He tries to grab the wad of cash while Rhino and Hernandez lock up. Rhino pulls out, and Heath snags the money!

Backstage: Chris Bey runs into Raju and informs him that he owes him a rematch for the X-Division Championship. TJP butts in. He wants a shot at the title too! Trey makes his way into the conversation as well. Raju says the easiest way to solve this is to have Bey, TJP, and Trey get into the ring and whoever wins the match they'll get a shot at his Championship.

Mathews announces that their three-way match will happen next week. Also on next week's episode, it'll be:

And now, our main event match!

The North, Ace Austin & Madman Fulton vs. The Good Brothers & Motor City Machine Guns

Ace Austin and Karl Anderson kick things off. Anderson goes right for a kick towards the midsection. Next, Anderson sends Austin towards his corner to tag in Doc Gallows. Gallows lands a big shot on Austin. He picks him up and smashes him into the turnbuckle. Gallows pulls Austin out of the corner and tags in Anderson. The Good Brothers come with a double team move on Austin before Chris Sabin and Josh Alexander are tagged in. Sabin comes in quickly, and in a blink of an eye, he tags in his partner Alex Shelley. MCMG counter Madman Fulton, who steps in the ring, with a double dropkick. Fulton goes flying out of the ring, and we head towards a commercial break.

We are back from the commercial break. Shelley and Alexander are in the ring. Alexander receives a little assistance from Ethan Page on the apron before he gets tagged in. Page grabs ahold on Shelley and quickly tags Madman Fulton in. Fulton smashes Shelley face-first into the top turnbuckle. Shelley starts to fight back with some open hand chops. Fulton slams Shelley down on the mat and goes for a bridge pin. Shelley kicks out of the pinfall. Austin makes his way into the ring. Fulton tries to choke the life out of Shelley on the top rope. Austin goes for a pin. Shelley kicks out again. Austin gains wrist control and tags in Page. Page lands a couple of stomps in before he flexes his muscles towards the camera. Page brings his friend Alexander back in. Shelley grabs Alexander's leg for a dragon screw.

Austin is back in. Shelley rolls over and tags Anderson in. Austin tags in Page. Anderson builds momentum with a beautiful spinebuster on Page. Page goes for a pin. Page kicks out at 2.5. Anderson is tagged in. The Good Brothers try to end the match with The Magic Killer. It's broken up. Sabin runs in and connects a DDT on Page. Sabin slides through the ropes to take out Austin and Fulton on the outside. Sabin rolls back in and slams into Alexander with a sliding dropkick. The Good Brothers and MCMG take turns slamming into Fulton with a series of uppercuts. Sabin gets his boot up on Alexander. Page and Alexander connect a doubt DDT on Sabin. Austin tags himself in and grabs ahold of Sabin's leg for the pinfall. Austin steals the win.
